1. Setup Your My Chatbox Account

Register on My Chatbox by adding information about yourself to your profile or login with your Facebook account. You will receive an activation email that you need to complete before your account will be active if you have registered the normal way. Once activated, login to My Chatbox.

2. Create Your Own Chatbox (Micro Blog)

Once you are logged in, browse to the Chatboxes directory and click on the “create a chatbox” button. Add the title, description and tags to your Chatbox. Choose whether it is a Public Chatbox (anyone can view the content) or a Private Chatbox (members that request and are accepted can view the content). Upload an Avatar graphic for your Chatbox. Sit back and view your very own Chatbox!

3. Micro Blog About Anything

You can now choose whether you want to micro blog directly on your profile or on any of the Chatboxes that you have created that you are “Moderator” of.  You can also edit your profile to include other social profiles you belong to such as your website, blog, Facebook profile, Twitter Profile, etc.  Have fun!

To get started on My Chatbox and to create your own Chatbox (Micro Blog) is very easy. You can create a free account on My Chatbox or you can register and login with your Facebook account details by clicking on the “Login with Facebook” button found on the sidebar of My Chatbox.

What is My Chatbox?

You can now register and login with your Facebook account on My Chatbox . This is a quick way for users to register and login to this Micro Blogging Community that does not want to register via the normal registration page on My Chatbox. Users can still register on My Chatbox if they do not want to register/login with their Facebook account.

Members that are already registered on My Chatbox can also login with their Facebook account if the email address that they have registered with on My Chatbox is the same as the email address connected to their Facebook account.

If the email address is different on Facebook to the one they have used on My Chatbox, a new user account will be created for that user and one account must be deleted. Check your email address!

New members

Members that registered/logged in with their Facebook details can also add profile information to their My Chatbox account so that other My Chatbox members can follow them them. Members can add and update their profile image (avatar), personal information, location and links to their blog, website, social network connections, etc.

Facebook status updates

SocialPress members can also authorize their Facebook account with their SocialPress profile on the network to submit status updates directly from SocialPress to Facebook. On the Facebook settings page of SocialPress member’s profiles, members can choose to include their SocialPress profile link on any status updates that they submit to Facebook so that they can share information with their SocialPress and Facebook friends.

On any forum topic or group activity, members can tick the box under the textarea “to facebook” to submit the update to their Facebook profile.
